Scott Prescott Kimball, the son of Edwin and Geneva Kimball, was born on March 27, 1887, in Salt Lake City, Utah. By 1915, he was a resident of Schenectady. He worked as an electrical engineer for the General Electric Company and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
On August 29, 1918, Scott enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with the 1st Company, 152nd Depot Brigade. On September 28, 1918, Scott passed away from pneumonia while undergoing training at Camp Upton in Brookhaven, New York. He is buried in the Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, Canajoharie, New York.
