Quentin Blueford Hogan, the son of Harry and Marie (Schlensker) Hogan, was born on March 21, 1921, in Schenectady, New York. He participated in both the varsity football and track teams at Mont Pleasant High School, where he earned his diploma in 1940.
On June 6, 1942, Quentin enlisted in the United States Army and began his training at Camp Upton in New York. He held the rank of Sergeant and served with the 291st Infantry Regiment, 75th Infantry Division. On January 15, 1945, Quentin was killed in the Battle of the Bulge. He is buried in Memory Gardens Cemetery and Memorial Park, Colonie, New York.
