Adolph Edward Landa, son of Adolf and Emily (Michalekova) Landa, was born on April 12, 1923, in Schenectady, New York. After graduating from Draper High School in 1941, he started working for General Electric.

 In January 1943, Adolph enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Technician Fifth Grade and served with the Medical Corps. While serving in India, Adolph was ill; he passed away on April 21, 1944. He is buried in the Fisher Cemetery, Rotterdam, New York.
