Donald Andre Le Fevre, the son of Ira and Helen Le Fevre, was born on November 8, 1917, in Schenectady, New York. He was a graduate of Albany Academy and Hamilton College.
Donald enlisted in the US Army Air Corps shortly after graduating from college in January 1942. He held the rank of First Lieutenant and served with the 1st Air Command Group. Donald also served in the Army Air Corps glider squadrons. Donald was reported missing in action on May 9, 1944, during the Burma Theater. He is remembered at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Philippines.
