Stanley Micael Suschinski was born in Meriden, Connecticut, on June 17, 1918. He grew up in Glens Falls, New York, and went to St. Mary's Academy. As an adult, he moved to the city of Schenectady and began working at General Electric.
On December 30, 1943, Stanley enlisted in the United States Army. He underwent his training at Camp Blanding in Florida, Fort Benning in Georgia, and Fort Meade in Maryland. He was a private serving with the 513th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division. Before being dispatched to Belgium, he saw action in England and France. Stanley was killed during the Battle of the Bulge on January 7, 1945. He is buried in St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fort Edward, New York.
