Archer Simon Kronick, the son of Charles and Dora (Greenberg) Kronick, was born on November 14, 1919, in North Adams, Massachusetts. By 1925, his family had moved to Schenectady. He attended Nott Terrace High School and worked for General Electric before joining the military.
On February 14, 1944, Archer enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. He held the rank of Sergeant and served with the 30th Bomber Squadron, 19th Bomber Group. He was the B-29 Schofield Crew's gunner. On April 16, 1945, Archer was killed while flying a night mission over Japan. He is remembered at the Agudat Achim Cemetery, Rotterdam, New York.
