World War II (1939-1945)

Bryce Benjamin Brown Jr. was born in Schenectady, New York, on March 31, 1925. He grew up on Regal Avenue in the city of Schenectady and graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1943, where he was a member of the track team, basketball team, choir, glee club, and National Honor Society. 

In October 1943, Bryce enlisted in the United States Army. He completed his basic training at Camp Croft in South Carolina. He was a private serving with the 90th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. Before being assigned to Northern France, he was stationed in England. Bryce was a member of an allied army unit when he was killed in battle on June 27, 1944. He is buried in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
