Cesare Mancini was born on April 29, 1893 in Italy. On November 7, 1913, he arrived in America and settled in Schenectady, New York.

Cesare enlisted in the United States Army on June 6, 1917. Cesare departed on the USS President Grant on May 17, 1918. He was a Private First Class in the Machine Gun Company of the 105th Infantry Regiment, 27th Infantry Division. On September 29, 1918, he was killed in combat during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
