World War I (1914-1918)

Concetto Lebathian Garigali was born in Italy on January 1, 1888. On October 11, 1913, he arrived in the United States aboard the SS Barbarossa and settled on Van Vranken Avenue in the city of Schenectady, New York.

On April 4, 1918, Concetto enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with Company H, 312th Infantry Regiment, 78th Infantry Division. Concetto was killed in battle on November 6, 1918, during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He is buried in the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial in France.
