Constantine Rea was born on May 3, 1917, in Schenectady, New York. His high school was Scotia Glenville. He was a left fielder for the Twilight Baseball League and worked for the General Electric.

On December 2, 1943, Constantine enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with the 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. On December 11, 1944, Constantine was killed in battle in Germany. He is buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
