Dominick J. Martiniano, the son of Vincenzo and Caterina Martiniano, was born on August 13, 1923, in Schenectady, New York.
On October 12, 1941, Dominick enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with 106th Infantry Regiment, 27th Infantry Division. On February 19, 1944, Dominick was killed in combat in the Marshall Islands. He is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
