World War (1914-1918)

Edward "Archie" Archibald Campbell was born in West Bloomfield, Ontario, New York, on March 29, 1896. By 1905, Edward was living in Schenectady, New York with his family. Before joining the military, he worked as a machinist for General Electric.

Edward enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces. He was a private serving with the 23rd Squadron Aviation Section, Sig, C. On January 13, 1918, while stationed at Camp MacArthur in Waco, Texas, he died of pneumonia.  He is buried in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
