Ernest Rivers Seabrooke was born in Yorkshire, England, on May 29, 1919. He immigrated to America in 1926 and settled in Niagara Falls, New York, before moving to Schenectady in 1941. Before joining the military, he worked for the Wallace Company.
On October 13, 1942, Ernest enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with the 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. On April 12, 1945, Ernest was killed in battle in Germany. He is buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial in Margraten, Netherlands.
