World War II (1939-1945)

Felix Joseph Bakowski was born in Schenectady, New York, on May 30, 1921. Before entering the military, he attended Mont Pleasant High School. 

On November 9, 1943, Felix enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division. Felix died in combat on April 26, 1945, in Florence, Italy. He is buried in the Florence American Cemetery and Memorial, Italy.
