World War II (1939-1945)

Frank Charles Shedina was born in Schenectady, New York, on September 10, 1909. He grew up in the city of Schenectady, attended Nott Terrace High School, and worked for the Nicholaus Restaurant on the corner of State Street and Erie Boulevard.

In December 1942, Frank enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with the 376th Infantry Regiment, 94th Infantry Division. On February 10, 1945, Frank was killed in combat in Germany. He is buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial in Luxembourg.
