Frank Charles Shedina, the son of Anton and Antonia (Mikulas) Shedina, was born on September 10, 1909, in Schenectady, New York. He worked at the Nicholaus Restaurant and attended Nott Terrace High School.
In December 1942, Frank enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private First Class and served with the 376th Infantry Regiment, 94th Infantry Division. On February 10, 1945, Frank was killed in combat in Germany. He is buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Luxembourg.
