Frank F. Ranucci's Letter                                             South America,   March 24, '43

Hello There!

A few lines to let you know that I am OK somewhere in South America. I am not at my destination as yet, but it won't be long now. I haven't heard from anyone at home in over a month and am a little worried.

The natives here speak a Portuguese lingo. I should learn it in time. I have been doing a lot of swimming here and getting a good burn. I don't mind this at all.

I'm anxious to know how everyone is at home. How is Sally, and the wife and yourself? Please write me as soon as you can because mail takes so long to get here. If you write soon, it may get to me in about a month. Well, I'm closing, give Ma and Pa my regards and tell them I wrote you. Love and kisses to you all.

                                                                                     Your Brother and In Law,

                                                                                     Frankie

P.S. send your letter air mail, it goes faster

* I would like to thank Frank Ranucci's great niece for the pictures and the wonderful letter Frank wrote to his family.
