James Stanley Buzanowski was born on May 20, 1914 in Schenectady, New York and resided in Scotia, New York.
On January 7, 1941, James enlisted in the United States Army and began his training at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He held the rank of Private First Class and served with Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 315th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division. James went overseas in April 1944, and on October 11, 1944, was killed in combat in France. He is buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
