John Androzieviez was born on December 6, 1895, in Vilnius, Lithuania. He resided in Schenectady on Monroe Street.
On October 5, 1917, John enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with Company C, 61st Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. On April 16, 1918, John departed for foreign shores aboard the USS Pocahontas. On August 5, 1918, he passed away from wounds sustained while fighting in France. John is buried in the Meuse Argonne American Cemetery, France.
