World War I (1914-1918)

Konstanty Adach was born in Austria, on July 24, 1895. He emigrated to America with his parents on the S.S. Vaderland when he was fourteen years old, arriving on June 20, 1911, with Schenectady, New York, as his final destination.

Konstanty enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with Company B, 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. Konstanty was wounded at the Battle of Belleau Woods and died on June 23, 1918, at La Ferte-sous-Jouarre, France. He is buried in the Aisne Marne American Cemetery, Belleau, France.
