Nicola Baltieri, the son of Attillio and Vincenza Baltieri, was born on September 9, 1913, in Puglia, Italy. Nicola arrived in the United States on the Augustus on July 5, 1930, with a final destination of Schenectady.
Nicola enlisted in the United States Army and held the rank of Private. He died on June 15, 1944, of unknown causes, and is buried at the Long Island National Cemetery in New York.
