World War II (1939-1945)

Quentin Blueford Hogan was born in Schenectady, New York, on March 21, 1921. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and was a 1940 graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, where he participated in both the varsity football and track teams.

On June 6, 1942, Quentin enlisted in the United States Army. He completed his basic training at Camp Upton in New York. He was a sergeant serving with the 291st Infantry Regiment, 75th Infantry Division. On January 15, 1945, Quentin was killed during the Battle of the Bulge. He is buried in Memory Gardens Cemetery and Memorial Park in Colonie, New York.
