World War II (1939-1945)

Robert Joseph Young was born in Schenectady, New York, on May 22, 1919. On December 8, 1942, Robert enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with Company G, 157th Infantry Regiment. In June 1943, he was deployed overseas, and on May 28, 1944, Robert was killed in action in Italy. He is buried in the Union Cemetery in Washington County, New York.
