Tadeusz Joseph Faluszczak, the son of Anthony and Rose (Belczyk) Faluszczak, was born on November 15, 1922, in Schenectady, New York. Prior to joining the military, he attended Mont Pleasant High School and Vocational High School.
In December 1941, Tadeusz enlisted in the United States Navy. He held the rank of Seaman Second Class. On November 30, 1942, he was lost at sea while participating in the Battle of Tassafaronga while aboard the USS New Orleans. Tadeusz is remembered at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Rotterdam, New York.
