Konstanty Adach was born in Austria, on July 24, 1895. He immigrated to America with his parents aboard the S.S. Vaderland at the age of fourteen, arriving on June 20, 1911, with Schenectady as their final destination.
Konstanty enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with Company B, 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. Konstanty was wounded at the Battle of Belleau Woods and died on June 23, 1918, at La Ferte-sous-Jouarre, France. He is buried in the Aisne Marne American Cemetery in Belleau, France.
