World War I (1914-1918)

Martin A. Anderson Jr. was born in New York City, on February 28, 1891. By 1900, he was living in the city of Schenectady. Before entering the military, he worked for General Electric. 

In March 1918, Martin enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with Battery C, 78th Field Artillery. On October 5, 1918, Martin died from wounds sustained during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He is buried in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
