World War II (1939-1945)

Edward Roy Dasse was born in Schenectady, New York, on September 5, 1911. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and worked as a welder for General Electric before entering the military.

On July 9, 1942, Edward enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with the Signal Corps Radio Unit and had participated in a number of significant conflicts. On May 21, 1944, he was killed in battle in Italy. He is buried in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Colonie, New York.
