Tadeusz Joseph Faluszczak was born in Schenectady, New York, on November 15, 1922. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and attended Mont Pleasant High School and Vocational High School.
In December 1941, Tadeusz enlisted in the United States Navy. On November 30, 1942, he was lost at sea during the Battle of Tassafaronga while aboard the USS New Orleans. He is remembered at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Rotterdam, New York.
