World War II (1939-1945)

Archer Simon Kronick was born in North Adams, Massachusetts, on November 14, 1919. By 1925, he was living with his family in the city of Schenectady on Stanley Street. He graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1938, and after graduation he started working for General Electric.

On February 14, 1944, Archer enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. He was a sergeant serving with the 30th Bomber Squadron, 19th Bomber Group. He served as the gunner for the B-29 Schofield crew. On April 16, 1945, Archer was killed during a night mission over Japan. He is remembered at the Agudat Achim Cemetery in Rotterdam, New York.
