World War II (1939-1945)

Stuart Royal McMaster was born in Schenectady, New York, on June 4, 1922. He grew up in the city of Schenectady on Campbell Avenue, graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1941, and attended the Pratt Institute after graduating. 

On March 6, 1943, Stuart enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. On February 9, 1945, Stuart and eight other airmen were killed when the B-24J Liberator they were aboard crashed into Mt. Harrison in Idaho. He is buried in the Greenfield Cemetery in Saratoga, New York.
