Henry Stanley Urban, the son of John and Susan (Obacz) Urban, was born on October 1, 1918, in Schenectady, New York. He went to Nott Terrace High School and was a member of the Golf Club.
On October 13, 1942, Henry enlisted in the United States Army. He was a Private First Class with the 494th Field Artillery Battalion, 12th Armored Division. On December 18, 1944, Henry was killed in battle in France. He is buried in the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, France.
