World War II (1939-1945)

Edward Stanley Anselowitz was born in Monmouth, New Jersey, on July 31, 1919. By 1930, he was living in the Town of Rotterdam, Schenectady County, New York. Before entering the military, Edward worked for the Gridley Sand and Gravel Company and General Electric. 

In June 1942, Edward enlisted in the United States Army. He was a staff sergeant serving with the 330th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division. On August 8, 1944, Edward was killed in battle in France. He is buried in the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, France.
