Anthony L. Huszar was born in Austria. On April 23, 1917, he enlisted in the United States Army and was deployed overseas on the San Jacinto on August 7, 1917. He was a Private First Class serving with Company A, M.P., 1st Division. He died of the flu in France on October 2, 1918. According to the Schenectady Gazette, he is buried in the New Catholic German Cemetery, but its location in Schenectady County is unknown.
