Korean War (1950-1953)

Anthony Lydell Donato was born in Schenectady, New York, on October 22, 1930.

On June 26, 1950, Anthony enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with Headquarters Company, 20th Engineer Brigade. Anthony had completed his training at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, and was on his way to Camp Kilmer in New Jersey, when he was involved in an automobile accident that killed him on November 9, 1952. He is buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
