Anthony Macejka, the son of Simon and Anna (Svetlik) Macejka, was born on March 1, 1922, in Schenectady, New York. He attended Mont Pleasant High School.
In July 1942, Anthony enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and was part of Company G, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. Anthony was killed in North Africa on August 5, 1943. He is buried in the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, New York.
