World War II (1939-1945)

Anthony Vincent Lattanzio was born in Schenectady, New York, on November 28, 1921. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and worked at the Lattanzio Bros. Sand and Gravel Company alongside his father after graduating from Nott Terrace High School in 1941.

On January 19, 1943, Anthony enlisted in the United States Army. He completed his basic training at Camp Bowie in Texas. He was a private first class serving with the Tank Battalion. On July 3, 1944, Anthony was killed in combat in France. He is buried in St. Anthony Cemetery in Glenville, New York.
