World War II (1939-1945)

Antonio "Anthony" DiVeglio was born in Scotia, New York, on March 17, 1922. He grew up in the village of Scotia in Schenectady County and was a student at Scotia-Glenville High School. Before entering the military, he worked for the Army Depot.

On November 24, 1942, Antonio enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with Headquarters Company, 119th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division. On August 10, 1944, Antonio was killed in battle in France. He is buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
