Antonio Dominick Posillico, the son of Thomas and Anna Posillico, was born on February 25, 1917, in Schenectady, New York. His high school was Scotia Glenville. Antonio played football for the Scotia Blue Jackets, a semi-pro team, and operated a business that repaired shoes.

On March 15, 1942, Antonio enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. He completed his basic training at Keesler Field in Mississippi. He held the rank of Corporal. On December 9, 1943, Antonio died when the B-24 Liberator Bomber he was flying crashed on Mount Taylor, New Mexico, some 50 miles from Albuquerque. He is buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
