Bryce Benjamin Brown Jr. was born in Schenectady New York, on March 31, 1925. He graduated in 1943 from Nott Terrace High School, where he was active in the track team, basketball team, choir, glee club, and National Honor Society.
In October 1943, Bryce enlisted in the United States Army. He underwent his basic training at Camp Croft, South Carolina. He was a private serving with the 90th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. Before being assigned to Northern France, he was stationed in England. Bryce was a member of an allied army unit when he was killed in battle on June 27, 1944. He is buried in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
