World War II (1939-1945)

Casimir W. Jankowski was born in Schenectady, New York, on December 12, 1914. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and was an exceptional golfer and boxer, as well as a graduate of St. Mary's School.

On February 29, 1936, Casimir enlisted in the United States Army. He was a staff sergeant serving with the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. On March 28, 1943, Casimir was killed in battle in Africa. He is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
