World War II (1939-1945)

David George Koch was born in Schenectady, New York, on August 4, 1924. He grew up in the town of Niskayuna, graduated from Nott Terrace High School, and worked for General Electric.

On April 14, 1943, David enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. On February 7, 1945, he went missing while piloting a B-24M bomber between Presque Isle and Iceland. He is remembered at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
