Donald Nicholas Myers, the son of Nicholas and Edith (Pringle) Myers, was born on May 26, 1922, in Saugerties, New York. By 1925, he had moved to Schenectady. He attended Draper High School and worked for General Electric after graduating.
On November 11, 1942, Donald enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with Battery C, 45th CA Battalion, CA. On September 8, 1943, Donald was killed in battle in North Africa. He is buried in Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
