World War II (1939-1945)

Donald Nicholas Myers was born in Saugerties, New York, on May 26, 1922. After 1930, he lived in the town of Rotterdam in Schenectady County on Stoodley Place. He graduated from Draper High School, and before entering the military, he worked for General Electric.

On November 11, 1942, Donald enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with Battery C, 45th CA Battalion, CA. On September 8, 1943, he was killed in battle in North Africa. He is buried in Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady, New York.
