Edward Roy Dasse, the son of Charles and Emma Dasse, was born on September 5, 1911, in Schenectady, New York. Edward worked as a welder for General Electric.
On July 9, 1942, Edward enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with the Signal Corps Radio Unit. He had participated in a number of significant conflicts. On May 21, 1944, Edward was killed in battle in Italy. He is buried in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Colonie, New York.
