About

Frank Curtis Case, the son of Seymour and Amanda (Layman) Case, was born on September 17, 1888, in Cairo, New York. By 1914, he had moved to Schenectady.

On May 25, 1918, Frank enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private First Class and served with the 229th Company, 115th Battalion, M.P.C. On June 30, 1918, Frank was shipped overseas on the Mercury. It's unclear how Frank died on January 7, 1919; some reports claim he was shot accidently, while others claim he perished in an aviation crash. He is buried in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
