World War II (1939-1945)

Fred Fuller Kingsbury was born in Schenectady, New York, on September 21, 1918. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1936. After graduation, he attended Union College and Albany Business College. Before joining the military, he worked for General Electric. 

In September 1942, Fred enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. He was a second lieutenant serving with the 384th Fighter Squadron, 364th Fighter Group. On April 15, 1944, Fred was killed in action over Europe. He is buried in the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial in Belgium.
