Fred Fuller Kingsbury, the son of Whalen and Agnes (Brown) Kingsbury, was born on September 21, 1918, in Schenectady, New York. He attended Union College in addition to Albany Business College after graduating from Nott Terrace High School. He was an employee of General Electric.
In September 1942, Fred enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps. He held the rank of Second Lieutenant and served with the 384th Fighter Squadron, 364th Fighter Group. On April 15, 1944, Fred was killed in action over Europe. He is buried in the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial, Belgium.
