Frederico A. Polsinelli, the son of Vincenzo and Antonia (Petti) Polsinelli, was born on May 16, 1924, in Arpino, Frosinone, Lazio, Italy. On April 14, 1938, he arrived in the United States with his family aboard the ship Rex; his final destination was Schenectady. Frederico attended Nott Terrace High School before joining the military. 

On March 10, 1943, Frederico enlisted in the United States Army and began his training at Camp Upton in New York. He was transferred overseas to New Caledonia in 1943, and he also served in New Zealand and New Guinea. He held the rank of Private and served with the 172nd Infantry Regiment, 43rd Infantry Division. On January 13, 1945, Frederico was killed in battle in the Philippine Islands. He is buried in St. Anthony Cemetery, Glenville, New York.
