George James Fallon, the son of Patrick and Sarah Fallon, was born on January 11, 1895, in Bennington, Vermont. When George was a baby, the family relocated to Schenecatdy. He graduated from Craig Street's Horace Mann High School. Before joining the army, George was a student at Union College.
On June 4, 1917, George enlisted in the United States Army. He was a Private First Class training at the master gun school at Fort Monroe, Virginia. On October 17, 1918, George died of the flu in a Virginia hospital. He is buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
