Guiseppe Bianchi was born in Petrella Tifernina, Italy, on October 29, 1887. On May 18, 1904, he arrived in America aboard the steamship Citta di Napoli, with a final destination of Schenectady, New York.
Guiseppe enlisted in the United States Army on April 29, 1918, and was shipped overseas on June 22, 1918, aboard the US Army troopship USS Susquehanna. He was a private serving with Company D, 148th Infantry Regiment, 37th Infantry Division. Guiseppe died on November 1, 1918, of wounds received during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He is buried in Flanders Field American Cemetery and Memorial, Belgium.
