Harry Jay Fuller, the son of Willis and Celena (St. Onge) Fuller, was born on May 30, 1894, in Cohoes, New York. When he was ten years old, he and his family relocated to Schenectady. Harry was an exceptional athlete; he was the top runner in Schenectady, held indoor sports records for the local YMCA, and played football for the Brockton football club in Mont Pleasant. Harry was a vaudeville acrobat with Robert Shank in the "King Brothers." 

In April 1918, Harry enlisted in the United States Army. On June 4, 1918, he was sent overseas aboard the Adriatic. Harry held the rank of Sergeant and served with Company A, 353rd Infantry Regiment, 89th Infantry Division. Harry died of wounds sustained during  combat in France on August 11, 1918. He is buried in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
