Harry William Borgia was born in Utica, New York, on September 11, 1922. He was a veteran of World War ll and saw action in the European Theater. After the war ended, Harry moved to Schenectady, New York to receive draftsman training in the engineering department of the American Locomotive Company, where he worked until returning to the service.
Harry re-enlisted in the United States Army on July 26, 1948. He was a captain serving with the 25th Infantry Division, Unit 0025. Harry was killed in action while on a mission over enemy lines in North Korea when his aircraft was struck by a Navy Jet in a cloud bank on May 11, 1952. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
