In 1895, Joseph Urbamski was born in Schenectady, New York. He resided on Front Street.

On April 4, 1918, Joseph enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Private and served with Company M, 312th Infantry Regiment, 78th Infantry Division. On November 1, 1918, during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, Joseph was killed in the line of duty. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
